Charity and Fundraiser Efforts

My lia sophia business is proud to announce its fundraiser efforts for the 2010 year.  We've donated over $600 in monetary contributions, $600 in raffle baskets and over 40 plus suits to Dress for Success!!  Thank you to those who have made this possible.  I'm eternally grateful for everything.

New news!!!

The last couple of months have been extremely exciting.  My team is growing every month.  We are all excited about going to Punta Cana in 2012.  Lia Sophia has been a blessing for me.  I've accomplished most of my goals for 2010 with my business. 

I wanted to promote to manager... I did
I wanted to have at least 8 team members... I did
I wanted to be in the monthly news letter at least 3 times...  I did
I wanted to earn the Quarterly recruiting... I DID!!!!

I just got my reward for the recruiting and its an $750 jewelry certificate for the new collection!!!!!!  Woohoo.

November is all about fundraising

My main joy in life is helping others.  There's been various situations that I've encountered in life.  I vividly remember how much it meant for someone to be there for me at those moments.  My lia sophia business takes pride in fundraisers.  I'm happy to annouce the 4 fundraisers that I will be holding in November.

Quarter Auction Mania

This week has been short on boredom.  I participated in my first quarter auction in Maryland area.  Lets say it was an interesting experience.  Kelly and myself have done various auctions in Pennsylvania over the last 2 years and Maryland is totally different.  I'm actually excited about the change and opportunities from the auction.  We sold 9 items and received a good response from my pieces.  The next auction on November 22nd will be TEN TIMES better!!! 

I will be auctioning off 10 items for $.50 only!  Plus, I'm going to let the winners choose the item.  This new approach will surely impress.  I'm mentally ready to help people get some holiday shopping done for a reasonable price.

New team members!!!

This last week was unbelievable!!!  I collected over $1600 in catalog sales.  Plus I had two new recruits!!  I can't believe it.  Brooke K and Tricia both joined the Fabian Firecrackers Team on Saturday.  These ladies will be phenomenal members to our growing group. 

In addition, Andrea B and Paula M had unbelievable sales at their home shows.  They both are receiving over $500 in free jewelry and savings.  Their amazement in our program makes a last impression on my life.  Lia Sophia treats all hostesses special.

Business updates for September

September is proving to be a successful month for me.  I've submitted my Unit Manager paperwork and I couldn't be any happier.  Lia Sophia has been an absolute blessing.  In October 2008, I never expected my life to be positively effected by Lia Sophia.  My team consists over 10 consultants and will hopefully double by year end. 

Remaining goals for 2010:

• Have another 5 people join my team
• Sales over $20K for September through December
• Make it in the newsletter for top Personal Sales
• Helped raise over $10K for various organizations

Sounds like a lot huh?  I'm dedicated to acheiving these goals.

Two days worth of great events

Last night, we attended a fantastic networking event in New Carrollton, MD.  It was amazing people with businesses collaborating and networking to expand our businesses.  It took several hours to get down from the high.  Friday morning was full of emails and calls to my new connections.  I was able to get 2 fundraiser leads, one salon connection and multiple collaboration contacts.  The $35 vendor fee paid was worth ever cent.  The event even lead me to starting my blog and twitter accounts. 

Tonight is the big night.  Rachelle and myself are participating in the Black Fashion Focus (http://www.blackfashionfocus.com/) event during the Black Caucus weekend.  The jewelry, catalogs and forms are all packed.  The outfit and accessories are picked out and ready.  We are expecting over 800 attendees tonight.  The sheer thought of the potential has a huge smile on my face.
